In my opinion, show & tell is one of the kindergarten staples that should have carried over into adulthood life, along with regular snack breaks, and afternoon naps.
There is something beautiful about a group of people taking turns sharing little pieces of their hobbies, habits and history with each other with unadulterated enthusiasm. Sure, it might be a little vulnerable, but the excitement over the opportunity to learn and grow together surpasses all the self-consciousness. As a kid, I was constantly excited to listen to others’ views and have my turn to share. In my adulthood; that urge to share and connect with the people around me has only grown stronger – even as it becomes much more difficult to actually accomplish.
My biggest hope for this blog is that it will be a place of sharing, learning, and growth.
I can promise you that I will be truthful, I cannot promise that I will be faultless.
